Nice view in the middle of nowhere!
You get what you pay for! The view is stunning, but it is basically an abandoned apartment building/hotel in the middle of nowhere! The manager is doing a great job of keeping this place somehow alive! Getting a Grab to town is not easy, and it’s at least 25 minutes to downtown Mactan!

Liked having a kitchen.major shops a little far but not much traffic there cheap taxi fares too shopping Center enyoyed comfortable drive there beautiful views surrounding hotel & out too ocean everyone was soo helpful many thanks too rose & mr yarden wonderful host invited us too a music bar drove us there mr yarden offered he’s kayaks but we didn’t have chance too use them maybe next time I took advantage off the aircond gym & beautiful large pools there 3 smaller pools for kids & has many comfortable chairs next too pool too relax or lounges too just enyoy a bit off relaxation plentiful lighting around pool at night & lights inside pool flashing you have options for travelling by taxi Jeepeny & aircon mini buses Wich we used while staying there very safe place too stay locals very friendly there are many activities too do excluding city tour island hoping

With 2 days left we wanted a quiet,scenic location and Arterra gave us exactly that.we were greated at the entrance,shown into our room with a quick walk thru.the kitchenette gave our stay a homey feel and the huge supply of drinking water was a bonus.from the 12th floor the view is nothing short of spectacular.the pool was large,clean and i did notice the sun was behind the building by noon,so no intense heat during our swim.the Arterra is now on my short list of favourites,we look forward to returning here..

When they finish the construction and open up the facilities, this will be a nice place. In the meantime, access to the property is limited without any transportation other than waiting for taxi or renting a scooter. The host is very helpful and will work with you but there is not much she can do about the building and access.

This is not a hotel at all. It's a vacation rental. Lobby is not even airconditioned and no restaurant that's open or nearby. Owner suggested food delivered to room. Have to drive on muddy and bumpy dirt road to get to hotel. No wifi. I did not check in and so I demand a refund and the owner agreed. My family and I got there at 11 for a 2 pm check in so I told the owner when he came down to the lobby to check me in and he agreed to give me a refund. I tried canceling online but there is no wifi.
