Stuck in the Closet
This location would have been great if we had had a different room. I’m not much a complainer or post reviews but this was an unfortunate situation. I booked a private room for my boyfriend I for 4 nights. We arrive really late at night so we did self check in. The downstairs is a clean cute cafe, we went upstairs to our room, opened the door and found the equivalent to a storage closet with a make shift bunk bed in it, not window and no ventilation. It was late so we thought we’ll stay here for the night. The next morning I took a peak at some of the other rooms around us, which were really nice, clean and had nice natural lighting, these were the rooms we thought we would get. Like I said I’m not a complainer so we stayed in the room, since we were doing so much during the day. On our third night in the room we came back, late again, and my boyfriend noticed something in the corner, it was a giant spider close to the size of my palm. That was the last straw we got everything out of our “room” and went to a different hotel. Long story short, the other rooms seemed nice, so if you stay here ask for “not the closet room”.

Great location but not so with the "service"
We were quiet disappointed because there wasn't anyone we could talk to. Not even where to rent a towel. The owner just dropped the keys and left us right away. Literally stayed only for 2 mins. Also, they said there was a free breakfast (which is only a toast) but they didn't refill it from the day before until the next day. As for the room, it smells like dried sweat inside probably because there isn't like a proper air ventilation. We are kinda disappointed with the overall service.

A little pricy for what you get
Booked a room with shared bathroom. Very clean room and bathroom, but not well thought out. Toilet stalls had no hooks for clothes or towel. Two shower stalls had the shower head at below shoulder height (I’m 172m tall), one shower stall didn’t even have a place to hang the shower head, so i had to hold the hose in my hand the whole time I showered. Kinda inconvenient. Water pressure wasn’t great either. Luke warm water at best. Very clean, stairwell had some sound absorbing materials so it didn’t echo too badly. Breakfast didn’t start until 9am, which was long after I needed to head out when I stayed there, so I can’t comment on that. ***place on Expedia map (Near Mingquan E Rd. Station) is not the actual address!! Use the address listed, which is maybe a ten min walk from Taipei Main Station!!**
