Wouldn't have stayed but had to because no buses on the day coming from Mt Cook. Very cold in the common area/kitchen. The owner(?) guy was kind of rude to me and other travellers..

Very well thought out layout in the room including fridge, sink, and small pull out table. Adequate dishes and eating utensils. Comfortable bed with electric blanket (which I did not need). Facilities I used were clean, tidy and not crowded. Very easy to walk to the local shops and restaurants.
