All My Thumbs Are Up
If you need a great dive spot and have modern day comforts like having cable TV and WiFi then this is a place for you. The reef in front of the hotel is excellent. They have a floating platform above the reef where you can feed fish. The area also has sea turtles swimming around, making it a nice treat if you manage to spot one. Their intro dive locations were also spectacular. The locations, mere meters from the resort, are teeming with life. The best thing about the entire place is their staff. The staff are so accomodating and friendly, making the stay extra nice. Their customer service alone is highly commendable. The only downside with the hotel was during our 3 day stay, we were able to eat through 3/4 of the menu. The menu was not that packed, but the servings are large. Tip: their Bulalo and Lechon Kawali were great.

House reef makes this place a great place to stay
The hotel and rooms are quite basic but then considering the price I think this hotel is good value for money. What makes this place special is the amazing snorkelling and diving right off the hotels small pier. Quite a lot of the coral is dead but there’s still an impressive amount to see. We were lucky enough to see a turtle (quite inquisitive and came close), cuttlefish. Hotel rents snorkelling gear quite cheap including life jackets for those not so good at swimming. They also have dive centre based at hotel. If you like snorkelling or diving this is a great hotel to stay at.

The view was spectacular! It’s better you have a car since the location is a bit isolated. Best place to relax with a beautiful ocean view.

You get what you pay for
Honestly, I initially wasn't going to write a great review for this place. However, I spent the next night at the nearby Eagle Point Resort and had a horrendous experience. So, as it turns out, this place actually wasn't that bad. The WiFi in the rooms essentially doesn't work, maybe 1 or 2 minutes max. But the WiFi in the common areas was excellent. There isn't a beach so if you're expecting anything resembling a beach you're out of luck. The staff was friendly. In general, the food was pretty good. However, we ordered the pasta dish and it took 50 minutes to come out and when it did it was a mound of spaghetti, dry, with a slight amount of sauce. It was supposed to come with garlic bread but when I asked they said they didn't have any. Possibly could have said that before we ordered. To remedy the situation a guy came out of the kitchen with a hamburger bun that was toasted for approximately 10-15 seconds, no butter no garlic. It was so stale it broke into pieces when I picked it up. I gave the dish back and said I wasn't paying for it. To their credit, they agreed to take it off the bill. Activities are way overpriced. But I don't want to dog them too much because at least they were nice and seemed to put in the effort. Like anything, you get what you pay for.

Decent place to hideaway
I think it just reopened after renovations. Place is clesn, pretty good in all areas. A few drawbacks, they were not able totake credit cards so I have to take a trike into town to use an ATM. Not very ideal. The staff id try to go above and beyond and I am thankful for the efforts provided. No wifi except in the main area..pretty 1990's The food is local, so it is good but not good if you are not a local. It is a dive resort so if you don't dive, enjoy the pool. It is a hideaway, far from anything at all...we went to dinner at the nearby resort, very good and caters to foreigners.... overall? I am glad I went, I doubt a return visit is in order.

Nice boutique style hotel
Nice boutique style hotel with friendly staff. There is no beach in that area, so be aware that water activities are limited to scuba and boat rides only.
