1.It’s a big risk for any guest as the hotel is near the river and it could literally fall down as the river is growing 2. Even though we made a reserve the hotel had no idea that we were arriving tonight 3. When we arrived there were no lights on, the doors were closed 4. The service and education of the workers showed a huge miss organization and lack of service, completely i irespectful

Uniqueness: Rushing mountain creek right out the window offered lovely ambience. Walkable to train station and restaurants. Helpful staff.

The property was very well located in Ollantaymabo, and it was next to a stream with views of the mountains. However the rooms were very basic, and very noisy. The sitting area that is advertised in the hotel details is actually a communal living room, and not private. This was not a problem, but the rooms were all facing this communal area, and the rooms were not sound-proof. So every voice, door slams/creaks, etc. came into the room. Finally the rooms were clean although very basic. However there was a rat in our room that caused a lot of disruption to us overnight.

It's right beside the river. The sounds of the river are so relaxing and literally 5 mins walking distance to all restaurants. Taking the tuk tuk taxi to the ollantaytambo train station was only 5 soles per car and an amazing experience. Breakfast is nice freshly made eggs, cereal, toast with jam or bologna. Highly recommen, front desk team are super friendly

I loved the location of this property. Being able to sit outside and listen to the creek while relaxing was so unexpected and very much appreciated. Recommended location!

The Junior room is not too impressed. Noise when walking. small bathroom, bathroom face wash sink is small, no place to even put your toothbrush. The face wash sink only have cold water. No portable heater. Stains on all walls. Not professional built room. still have unfinished construction around the bathroom door. I stayed for 2 nights and they didn't clean my room after first night. Bathroom has mold. Breakfast has bread, tomato, cheese, ham, fruits, coffee, tea, cocoa tea, fried eggs, Scrambled eggs. I asked if they can make a changes for 20 soles bill. He said he doesn't have any... but you only take cash for payment, you have no changes for 20 ? I paid USD 61.50 per night. I'm not sure if that's what I should expected for that amount? I didn't sleep at other hotel so I have nothing to compare with. Front desk only stay until 9pm. Breakfast start at 7 am

Stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Machu Picchu. Stayed in the junior suite with the view of the stream. Pros: friendly staff, close to food and the main square (taxi’s), the train station to Machu Picchu is about a 20 mins easy down hill walk or you can take a taxi. Cons: room is a bit chilly but there is a heater. The living room doesn’t get warm even with the heater but the bedroom is fine. The sink only has cold water but the shower has very hot water. Overall not a bad hotel. I would recommend staying!

The room was wonderful with beautiful views. The location was near center of town but in a more peaceful environment. The staff was kind and helpful. Great stay.
