Bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood!!
I won't be staying at this location again. The room was clean upon arrival and the view if Lake Powell was beautiful. Everything was great until it came time to go to sleep. There were two different mattress in our room. The one was great and the other one was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. I never imagined a bed would be so hard in my life. Needless to say I slept horrible, and when I brought it up to hotel staff she had informed me that there were no other rooms available. I had asked if there was anyway we could just simply trade out the mattress for another one. She told me she would contact her manager and see what could be done. After checking back with her she informed me that they wouldn't be able to exchange the mattress out , and that there was nothing they could do about it. So i was forced to bunk up with my two girls in one bed for the next night. Upon check out when i approached the desk to turn in my keys there were about 3 staff members laughing and chatting away they had acted like I interupted there conversation, and told me to leave the keys in there drop bucket. I was never asked how my stay was nor do I think any of the staff cared. Nothing was done about this issue and im not one to complain, but this was a complete nightmare, and I don't recommend booking this hotel.

Thanksgiving weekend
The first day was fine but the next 2 days the service was not good. Even though it showed on the sign breakfast was until 9:30 the desk clerk gave us a hard time about getting coffee and breakfast bags. There were only 2 trix bars and a juice cup. Our room was never cleaned and we had to call to get our trash taken out. Some of the male staff didn’t wear masks. The hotel itself was nice but we were disappointed with some of the staff on day 2 & 3. Leanne Leach

We now are big fans of this chain
This was the first time we have stayed at a Wyngate by Windam and we are hooked! This one had an amazing price under $60 and we couldn't believe what we got for the $. Easily could have spent $120 at Hampton Inn and gotten the same thing EXCEPT this place has more comfortable beds and pillows and a better luggage cart that makes all the difference in getting up to the room. The only thing I wish had been different is the bagged breakfast.. It was a Trix cereal bar and a muffin and apple juice. The cereal bar was so gross even my 6 yr old thought it wasn't edible. Other than that we now look for this hotel when traveling in other cities. We did stay in another one after this one that had better breakfast but was $50 more expensive for the night.. so now we can only stay if we have the extra money to splurge.

Excellent for the price
I've stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times, although with covid the service has gone down a bit. I had problems with the wifi. Good location a few miles from Horseshoe Bend. Shares a parking lot with a Denny's but there are other options a few miles away. For the price, it's excellent.

God, but could've been better.
The service was great, but for being such a new motel, our room had water damage that was cheaply repaired. The pillows smelt like body order, that was gross. The room itself was beautiful and so was the area.
