The Tosei Hotel Cocone Kanda was a great place to stay during our time in Tokyo. Only one stop away from Tokyo and one the same line as some as very popular places ( Harajuku, Airport line, Disneyland etc.) and short walk from Akihabara. The hotel itself was clean, newly/modernly furnished and as recently described, it was in a great location. Would highly recommend Tosei Hotel Cocone Kanda for anyone staying in Tokyo.

Location was great as it was close to train stations. However the rooms were too small even for 2 people with 2 medium sized luggage.

Thank you for the free upgrade. The room was big. The only thing is we are a family of 4 and we only had 2 pillows in the room. We can’t get any extra pillow at the lobby for the 3 nights.

Clean, Easy, Quiet and awesome food
Small & exceptionally clean rooms - just what you need when you are the type of person that wants to get out an about to explore Kanda and beyond. If you want square meters and room service this is not for you. Area is brilliant, staff friendly. Café down stairs for breakfast and food all day. SUPER quiet area and lots of cheap genuine Nihon eats near by :-) Access to the station super easy, 1 stop from Tokyo central (in fact I walked to Tokyo station many times). If you have kids, it's a great place, because food is cheap and the roads are not busy in the evenings and weekends.

The service was not that great. A simple request to bring the packed breakfast up into the room as we were going out was rejected.

Good value for money near central Tokyo
First trip to Japan and concerned about managing with the language but no need to have worried. Most signs in English as well. Hotel 5 minute walk from Kanda station which is one stop north of Tokyo station on Ginza line, so convenient for Royal Palace & Ginza. Not overly expensive once you accept that space is what you pay for in Tokyo hotels. Good front desk, although none of the reception staff had good English but we managed to make each other understand our needs. Clean, modern rooms but don't expect large bathrooms. Rooms cleaned and beds made up daily. Kettle & mugs in room but no sachets of tea (green or black) or coffee but you can get these at the local 7-11 or bring some tea bags! Good wi-fi (essential in Japan!). Lots of small eateries & drinking places within 2 minutes walk. Good coffee shop next door so no need to book breakfast, unless you like that sort of thing. Overall, good value & an enjoyable stay PS One of Tokyo's few Indian restaurants between Kanda station and hotel (If you have a sudden urge for a curry on a Friday night.

The location was great. Very close to the train and subway. Apart from that I was disappointed with the hotel. Bed was uncomfortable, there was some sort of straw or styrofoam like substance in the pillows, bird chirping recording in the hallway all night long. Housekeeping staff were excellent, very friendly and thorough at their job. The laundry facilities consisted of an all in one washer and dryer which in theory sounds great but my clothes were still damp after 2 hours. Check out was at 10am. I was, admittedly, running late. At 10:15 I get a call telling me, quite abruptly, if i'm not downstairs in 15 min there will be an extra charge. This despite it saying in their pamphlet late check out was available. I didn't ask for it as I thought I had given myself enough time. Still, I was only 20 min past check out. It hardly warranted the rude warning.
