Thistle Hill is a beautiful place to stay in the Hunter and conveniently located amongst wineries and restaurants. Donna's hospitality couldn't be faulted and her little extra touches were much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Excellent and cozy accommodation with very warm & welcoming hosts. Especially liked the muscat, cheese plate and bottle of wine in the fridge with bottled water as part of the stay. Highly recommended and close to everything in the Hunter Valley!

Donna and Stuart were the most incredibly accommodating hosts of any property I have ever stayed at. The cottage was spacious yet cosy and homely. The little personal touches made our stay so enjoyable and made us feel like we were being greeted by old friends. The location is also only a short drive to all of the hunters best wineries. I would Highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the hunter

Really nice property with a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely little extras left in our room each day, like home made brownies, cheese plate a bottle of their own wine. There was also lovely extras at breakfast including home made frittatas, fruit comports etc. Will definitely be back & highly recommend.

This guest house is absolutely charming! Nestled between lakes and trees, it is so peaceful and breathtaking. Donna was an absolutely wonderful host! We had a very warm welcome, grounds tour, restaurant recommendations, and amazing homemade breakfast. I would travel back to this area just to stay here! Cannot say enough wonderful things about Donna and her guest houses!
