The property was beautiful. We had the suite which was extremely spacious and really well appointed. The infinity pool was very nice and relaxing. The food was really good as well. The staff very attentive. I think the only drawback to the hotel is that although the view beautiful at the top of the mountain, it is quite difficult and takes time to get up there so it is not convenient if you want to go back and forth from the city below. Other than that, the hotel is perfect.

Fox Kandy was well set up. There were a few villas but they were cleverly positioned, so it felt like only an exclusive place. We were given a great room with a glass shower leading to the bedroom. Wide variety of food, excellent staff. The pool was amazing- infinity pool in the clouds. Only con; suprisingly- a lot of bugs here, which is nice if you like nature. I loved Fox Kandy and would stay here again.

Friendly Staff
Very friendly, going all the way to make your stay a pleasant one. I got stomach issues after my first night and told the restaurant staff. I received a call when I got to my room to ask whether I need anything as they heard I got sick. They offered to make me a breakfast/ lunch box for the next day as I had a 5-hr drive that day. A couple it improvements: please offer organic juices and not from a package, which is loaded with sugar. The AC is placed in front of the bed and it was uncomfortable feeling the cold wind blowing directly on me. I turned it off during my entire stay. The bathroom is quite small while the bedroom is spacious. The sink is large but there is no vanity space to put your toiletries on. When it’s windy, which this isn’t something the property can control, the pool is too cold to swim. Expect a day to be spent inside your room bc of the cool temps. If you heat up the pool, that would be a great perk! Also, after dinner, there is nothing to do than to go back to your room. Think of offering a 60-minute cultural performance: dance or music. Offer some entertainment as there is literally noting than a cold pool in which no one swims.

We had a lovely stay here, fabulous views and very friendly staff. Food was typical Sri Lankan, good standard and the curry’s were a delight. Perfect location away from the very busy kandy city. Room was spacious and had great. views of the mountains and we saw a beautiful sunset. A great choice. if you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of a major city.

Up in the hills overlooking Kandy, the Fox offered a calm escape from the crazy city below! The setting is wonderful with expansive views from a beautiful infinity pool. Staff were super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a lazy afternoon by the pool, there is a nice garden areas with loungers and umbrellas. Our ground floor room was adequate with views into the trees though the 1st floor would afford better. The restaurant had a buffet for dinner which we actually had both nights as there was a great selection and the. Sri Lankan options in particular were delicious! Good choice again for breakfast. Due to the location a tuk tuk is needed to get around, there is nothing walkable.
