Seems overrated. Air conditing was poor for 2 days. First guy came to repair - he looked at it and said he would be back. After about 8 hours of no return, I called again and a different guy came. He pulled out the AC filter which looked a year old. That fixed the AC problem. Bathroom is small. Our queen room was 2 twin beds pushed together. Bedroom not the cleanest. The food in the restaurant was not good. I ordered a hamburger and it was weird meat. We ordered Calamari for room service and it was served cold. After calling it in, he took it back and microwaved it. I was not going for that. I asked for a new other - taste was awful. We had several other meals from the Firewood restaurnat that we mediocre.

Terrible conditions. Hotel room expensive given very small space, no window, 3 calls about TV not working, toilet seat broken, extremely small bathroom, no hot water. Staff nice but that is about it for anything positive.

This Hotel was clean, tidy, friendly & central to Tacloban. There are 4 different sized rooms available on each floor. Choice is based on price which was reasonable. We chose the second smallest size for 2 guests, & found that the only thing that was too small was the bathroom with limited space for all normal amenities. Otherwise, a good room for short stays. Breakfast was included in the price & was quite good. We recommend this Hotel for good value.

The food makes us come back to this hotel!
Always a great stay. Now if only the Ironwood people will reply timely, everything would have been perfect. :) Would take them hours to reply via SMS, PMs, and email which can be quite annoying.
