Unique place
Ida is a very traditional Balinese hotel, which has all the charm. Situated on beachfront where you enjoy breakfast and a swim over looking the beautiful candidasa.
The traditional thatched cottages offered large clean rooms, comfy bed and airconditioning. Our room had wifi as it was located near the reception area.
We choose the continental breakfast which was fresh juice and fruit and two pieces of toast. It was enough for us.
We were a family staying at the Ida and when we first arrived I was a little out of my comfort as it had no tv and no fridge. However saying that it was such a perfect holiday. I would do it all over again. So traditional and peaceful.
I was so surprised that there was not many mosquitos at all.
We left our iPhones and iPods out and we had no issues what so ever. They do have a safety deposit box at reception that requires two keys to unlock, one which you hold.
The staff were friendly and accomodating. They would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. They organised us to go snorkelling at blue lagoon, which was just beautiful.
I recommend this place for those looking for a peaceful holiday in candidasa.
