The theme rooms are quite interesting and original. The beach is beautiful and clean.It took close to 3.5 hours from Bacolod by taxi and then a quick pump boat to cross the river. There are only 3 or 4 other resorts on the island so we had not much restaurant to choose from other than the resorts. Luckily though there are a variety of food in the menu. There are a few lounge chairs and huts on the beach depending if you’re looking for shade or full sun. Wifi and phone reception is scarce but that’s not their fault. Make sure to download movies to watch prior to coming to the resort There is a german shepherd that they own and i’ve noted a few spots in the sand with dog feces. I wish they would clean after it. Also, bring lots of bug spray. Large mosquitos around.

Nicely appointed, well maintained beach resort with good food and decent WiFi. They should mention in the property description that the road does not go all the way through to the hotel. You have to take a short boat ride, 15 min max, to th property. As there were boat guides nearby and available, it was not hard to get to the property however older guests may have a problem with that.

Provided me with a unique and smooth experience since getting on boat towards the final destination to where the accommodations are as it’s our first time. Food choices are beyond expectations. Staff are responsive with concerns, along with openness. One of them shared stories in general about the place and it’s people. Good choice if you want peace and quiet, at the same time if you would like to unwind from the city buzz. Thank you Takatuka!

Formidable hôtel, situé sur la plage de Sugar beach, avec une déco incroyable, chaque chambre a un thème... chaque détail est choisi, on passe un temps fou à tout observer! Tout est parfaitement clean, un personnel super sympa, disponible, etc... le petit dèj est juste parfait! Le restau et sa carte tout aussi incroyable de diversité, chaque plat est un vrai délice. Les patrons sont très accueillant et vous ne louperez pas Ozi, le chien, tout aussi incroyable et sympathique... le seul chien qui a un doudou/lapin en peluche...😂😂😂 Bravo et merci pour ce séjour. not 9.2 but not bad
should not be 9.2 rated. room decor very great. gardens great, room is clean great. no parking of course because there is no road to property, only accessible by boat. beach not bad but not great. aircon is not big enough to cool this large room. only outdoor dining available is not great. breakfast not good. bed is uncomfortable even using Philippines standards if you know what i mean. bedding setup is designed as "hostel" style. small pillows, minimum mattress, minimum sheets, king bed has only two twin size cover sheets, no other covers. if it was a Hostel then the bed is as expected. bedding needs improvement. if the bedding issues were corrected and if the breakfast were upgraded to at least "basic Philippine cheap hotel breakfast" or perhaps upgraded to basic European style breakfast with a cook who at minimum knows how to cook an egg, then breakfast rating could be higher.
