Location Magnificent! Resort is renovating sections, so some areas are not usable. Staff are very accommodating and eager to please. Food was good although a little expensive considering how cheap eating out is.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful and surely they’re trying to make you feel at home! I arranged a celebration dinner at the balcony and they prepared it so well, view was stunning during sunset if you stay in a lake view villa!

Highlight of this hotel is the fantastic views from the infinity pool over Bagan's ancient temples. Bungalows are very comfortable. Service however let's the property down. On arrival we found two dead cockroaches and a dirty bath tub which remained uncleaned for the entire stay - unacceptable for an establishment that wants to deliver a luxury experience. On the second day there was a live cockroach in the bungalow which housekeeping removed. Requested an ironing board whilst going for dinner but almost 2 hrs later when returning to the bungalow it had still not been delivered and had to prompt staff again. WiFi coverage is almost non-existent in the bungalows unless you try very late at night when I assume not many guests are using it. Food was nice but very overpriced.

Was unable to call the hotel as their numbers on google and on their website was incorrect. Therefore they weren’t able to arrange an airport transfer. I sent them an email - no response either. The bathrooms are due for a renovation/makeover and are very dated and flooring is stained. The bed was firm and not plush. The price definitely didn’t match the standard. Didn’t meet the GM even once while we were there especially after we complained about various issues. One night the water was stopped at 10pm and I had to wait until 12am to shower after the spa with oil on my body as the spa didn’t even inform me. To top it all off we were charged 10 USD for taking their cloth laundry bag for my used clothes... I’ve traveled the world over and stayed at several properties but this was definitely a first for me. Will not go back or reccomened it.
