This is one of rare good quality hotels close to Al Balad. After crossing of King Fahd road it's a short walk to the middle of old district. Everything works well but they don't offer breakfast from starting of covid. Large parts of city close to hotel are destroyed as part of huge renovation project. Plus side is that there is almost no traffic next to hotel anymore. The minus side is that this hotel would be destroyed also but seems that they keep their standard until closure.

2nd Stay not as good as first.
This stay wasn't as nice as the first stay last year. They dropped the omelette from the breakfast option and one morning the gent was getting upset because we came for breakfast about 15 minutes before ending time (10am). Shower was not well lit because of a lack of lighting, which was all on the one side of the bathroom.

Excellent stay, better-than-average hotel.
Alhamdulillah, my family and I stayed here for 2 nights before completing our Umrah. The staff were helpful and they assisted more than expected and more than normally experienced. Room was good, facilities were good, we were even allowed an extra late checkout because our taxi was scheduled for a late time. Overall a very good experience. Will definitely stay here again.
