Beautiful setting on the beach which was raked daily; pleasant pool with a view of the ocean. Dining palapa is staffed by wonderful servers although the food leaves something to be desired. The on site mgr was very accommodating but initially told us all the meals were included. When I double checked our booking after a dinner and b’fast, he clarified that he meant there was dining “on site”. Unfortunately, we’d already been charged for 8 meals and beverages. Cabins moderately clean, kitchen really not useable. Leakage under the common wall to the (not at all private) bathroom after a single shower, with a puddle after 4 family members would rinse. Sleeping in main bed is great but the second bed is double futon and the single bed had an extremely thin mattress. The cabin had fans for cooling but screens were torn in a few places. Road noise was horrible until well into the night. The chairs on overwater pier were broken and dangerous. The Garifuna entertainment night was a plus but they badgered for tips. Scorpion in shower that stung me was later killed by staff and dismissed as minor. Owners did not seem interested in feedback nor likely to take action. We will choose differently next time.

Beautiful beach
7 girls shared two cabanas. Restaurant and bar right next door. Cabanas right on the beach. Very relaxing. Good food and service from Leo? Would definitely recommend and would stay again

On the beach
Right-right on the beach-Walked out of room there's the beach -our room had a loft- and our bed was upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Many times during the night-yep to the bathroom. Beach area not swim able. When the weather changed, it rained and rained.Rain/wind at night was the worse. It rained so hard our power went out (very dark) and guess what, had to find our way downstairs to bathroom. This as fun for us. Food was extra cost at this hotel. You could walk to town, but to far for us. There are other rooms without lofts. We did enjoy our private area. Sitting on the deck just watching the waves.

Great staff, great food quality and pricing, rooms were clean but very limited in comfort. No coffee maker or microwave in rooms, small portable gas burner stove was not very useful. But overall extremely quiet and relaxing.
