Fair Isle Motel, Whycocomagh, Canada
This is an older motel that has worked very hard to bring it current. It is very clean and the management is great! You need to go to Charlene’s restaurant right up the road for the best seafood chowder. And, if you say you stayed at Fair Isle you get 10% off. We are from Maine and know seafood chowder! Also, My wife is gluten free and loves this restaurant, I like it too! Thank you for a great stay!

Beatiful hillside location
Very clean, well appointed room in a beautiful location on a hill overlooking the vast inland sea of Bras D'or. Could not find anything to fault, the proprietor couldn't have been nicer. We had a memorable seafood chowder at the nearby restaurant Charlene's she had recommended at check in. The motel has two different parts, a front part and a annex a short distance from the first. Our room number 20 might be a tad difficult to access for those with walking disabilities as it has 3/4 steps, something I had neglected to inform the proprietor as I was traveling with a family member with mobility issues. All in all we were very pleased with Fair Isle, we would certainly stay again given the opportunity.

Vacation night stay
We stayed while travelling the Cabot Trail. Christine, the manager was very welcoming and helpful with advice. The motel was in a good area, roomy, modern upgrades have been done. It was a comfortable nights stay.

Nice, clean, well-run and very friendly place.
A very pleasant, well-run and well-kept motel in a nice setting. We got about as warm and friendly of a welcome as is possible that included helpful information about the area. We also got a quite and comfortable night's sleep. It was a good value. We would stay there again.
