Wonderful stay
Brilliant hotel in the perfect location, walkable to town, harbour and surrounded by great places to eat and drink! Staff were very friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome. We were able to leave luggage in the hotel on last day while we squeezed in some more site seeing and they helped order a taxi to station when we collected it!

4/10 Fair

Overpriced bad room
First off, the staff are lovely, the restaurant part is nice and the outside look of the hotel is good. Everything else is not great and not worth the cost. This hotel is immensely overpriced and not worthy of 4 stars either. I paid £390 for two nights (cheapest rate I could find) and our room had no openable windows, the windows were completely frosted, the carpet wasn’t clean, the main room lamp was for ‘show’ as it couldn’t reach any of the power outlets, handles/doors were dirty, and the cushions were stained with what I assume to be fake tan. Our room was also only accessible via the restaurant itself so we had to walk through it to leave and enter the hotel which was awkward. The spa is not for anyone with claustrophobia as the stairs alone are incredibly small. Unfortunately I don’t think this the space is fit for its purpose. I have stayed in the Southampton Harbour hotel which was extremely clean but this branch doesn’t come near it. I can only assume it’s neglected by the management/whichever rich man owns the hotels. This branch also hosts a parties which are extremely loud. I wasn’t made aware of this upon arrival. I had returned to my room after a long day at work only to have music thudding in my room. The last thing I wanted after working was to hear ‘Shakira shakira’ pounding into my bedroom. I will not be returning.

Would visit again :)
Really enjoyed this hotel - staff were helpful and friendly. Our room wasn't ready at check in time so we used the spa facilities which we loved and used throughout our stay. On the first night we were woken very early by some pigeons nesting outside our window so the hotel kindly moved us to another room for our second night which was lovely. We would definitely stay again if we were to come back to Bristol.
