A wonderful experience.
I absolutely loved my stay at this guesthouse. The room was very cost effective, clean quiet, have working AC and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was amazing and helped me with booking tuk tuks, day trips, and whatever other needs I might have had. It's in a great location - just a few blocks from the night market, close enough to talk but far enough to avoid the noise. Across the street is the river lined with restaurants and bars. I would absolutely stay here on any future trips to Laos - it was a wonderful experience.

Mekong-induced indolence
Had a great stay. Extremely pleasant management and staff truly willing to help when needed. Loved the breakfast with homemade jams and dragonfruit smoothie taken on their terrace overlooking the Mekong. Bliss... Thank you and see you next time.

like- location, cleanliness. dislike- the room in the next building a quite dim as it has only a ceiling hanging decoration light. seemed like the staff is getting some kind of 'commission' when they offer services like informing that the kuang si waterfall tuk tuk will be there to pick up interested guests and getting a tuk tuk to the airport. they quote 40k KIP per pax for a return tuk tuk trip to the waterfall but i managed to get 30k KIP per pax for an air-conditioned minivan. they quoted 50k KIP for a tuk tuk to the airport but i get mine at 30k KIP.

This guesthouse is really good. It is comfortable and also give you the Laos atmosphere. You don’t need more. It is simple but enough. The staff are friendly, good location and they also give you 20% discount in the restaurant in Just in front. I recommend this guesthouse.

Traditional wood house Opp Mekong delightful stay.
Front room spacious and comfortable with balcony but little noisy from road and voices. Breakfast not included but delightful in their restaurant opposite with 20% discount. Manager Eric friendly Frenchman very animated and helpful. Pleasant 6 night stay.

I could not be more pleased with my stay at View Khem Khong Giesthouse. It is not overly fancy but it had exactly everything I needed. My host was the most charming French gentleman. He really made the stay. There was a slight hiccup at the start of my business that was complete out of his control and he more than made up for it. He was so helpful with tips about what to see and exactly how to go about it. The breakfast at the restaurant across the street was lovely. I will definitely stay there again when I return!
