Well where do I start! When we arrived on this remote island, we had NO RESERVATION with Embrace Resort. The resort never received the reservation from Travelocity. With that being said, there was no availability on the island at any other “resort” or hotel! Luckily we met sunrise and they offered us a place to stay. They resort is blaming Travelocity and Travelocity is blaming resort. Regardless, it was a terrible situation to be in! If this comment can do anything, I would hope prevent this from happening to anyone in the future. Travelocity is going to deal with “resorts” or hotels on small remote islands, then you may want to speak directly w them to confirm reservation. I don’t think these islands are tech savvy!!

Amazing house!
What an amazing property on Staniel Cay. I had seen the house before while swimming at Pirate Beach, so when I saw it pop up on HomeAway I thought it would be a great idea to check it out, and I’m very happy I did. The location is absolutely perfect. A short golf cart ride over to the yacht club and you have, in my opinion, the best beach on the island literally right in your backyard. There’s even a gate and a private path that leads down to the beach. The house itself is perfectly accommodated for a family of 4 or 2 couples. Everything worked perfectly. Cold AC. Clean appliances. Amazing rear deck for sunset drinks. I could not recommend this house more. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful little get away
We had some hesitation as it is very close to the airport, but really once we stepped foot on the property is was its own resort. The staff there is wonderful, resort is clean, and a great alternative to the yacht club.
