Avoid this one if you want tv to watch.
The listing said basic cable but we could only get a few stations. The mgmt firm kept saying they were working on getting it fixed, when i called them, as they were not keeping me informed, then the last night they said we had all of the tv that the listing offered. DEFINITELY NOT. A hole in the bedroom floor needs repair, and the light in the bedroom ceiling fan did not work. Minimal light in the bedroom. We informed them of that too. I have been using Hotels.com for years, and this is the first time I have ever filed a complaint with them. I finally talked with a manager of the company handling the facility who said she would look into everything and she would definitely call me that night. She did not. I would avoid any facility handled by Beachside Management, as I will in the future.

Photos on web site are very deceiving. The small cottage you barely see in the picture is what we got and the photos of it are mixed in with the cabana photos, so you have no idea that you are getting a tiny, old cottage as your vacation home. Although it did sleep 5 as stated, the living room/ TV room only has room for three people and very basic TV channels, so forget about a family movie night if it rains. Kitchen was TINY with very small stove so, again, don't think about making dinner for 5. We manged to make breakfast daily but you can't use more than 2 small appliances like microwave, toaster, and coffee pot at the same time cause the lights will dim and almost blow out. The shower, also tiny, if you weigh more than 200 lbs, you can't move in it at all and if you're taller than 5'6" you can't shower without taking the head off the top and holding the spray with one hand which requires you to move your arms around. Dilemma!! The bathroom doesn't have any air flow so we had to rig the door open or it would get very hot. You have to keep all blind closed at all times of the very small air conditioners won't keep the house cool. No central AC, just 4 small units. To be fair in my review I do have to mention the things we liked: two blocks walk to beach, four beach chairs provided, one large cart to take to beach, four beach towels (and we found a bonus one in the closet), outdoor shower in back of house.

FRAUD ALERT!!! This is a complete false advertisement. When I booked through Expedia , it says the hotel will there’s 1. Beach access - first of all there’s no beach access, the nearest beach access is at least 15 mins walk. 2. Pool access - there’s no pool access , the pool is in another resort which is 10 mins walk. 3.internet access. - the internet did not work. Despite calling the phone number several times, there was no solution provided. They finally sent someone the day before checking out to fix the WiFi but she was of no help. Absolutely clueless and was asking us how to reset a password. 4.House keeping. - there was no housekeeping and there was no toiletries that were provided. To top it, they charge you more on site than it’s mentioned while booking. The front desk girl was unprofessional and impolite when these things were communicated to her. The manager is never available to talk.

The banana cabana is a great place to stay and only a walk away from the beach. They were very accommodating to our needs. Don’t forget to treat this like a condo and bring your basic needs. They also do not have a washer or dryer. We were very disappointed that our WiFi and Cable did not work the entire trip and no one came to fix it, after we called multiple times. Someone ended up picking up the box on the last day. They advertise free WiFi so this was disappointing because I have to stay on my email for work. Overall, great trip! We will come back.
