Huge change for the worse.
My husband and I had stayed her years ago and we loved it. This experience was a complete 180. The room was dirty. Dirt on the walls, curtains splattered with who knows what. My 17 month old found an advil, a tic tac and a piece of dog or cat food on the floor. They obviously do not clean well. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. Lumpy and creaky. The water was having issues. We would turn on the cold water and it would be scorching hot for at least 5 minutes. We had to let the water run for so long to get anything to drink. We also couldnt wash out sons hands for a long time due to fear of burning him. Super unsafe. We will most definitely not be back. So disappointing.

Hotel Chrome, May 2023
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.Check-in was not pleasant as the receptionist was not very helpful and somewhat rude and gave no info. I stayed in front of the elevator not knowing I needed to put my hotel card on a sensor outside of it (no sign) to make it work. A cleaner told me to do so. I do not expect to be treated like a prince but I expect a professional attitude. The room was not super clean and the bath has black stains/spots in it and the drain was rusty. Some lamps were loose and one did not work. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was an ok stay as it did the job. Will I stay there again? Probably not. Location is central so I guess it "explains" the higher price of rooms. Though, due to the quality of the room I was in (I cannot speak for all rooms), it should have been at least 30% cheaper.
