My wife and I stayed for just one night for a shopping trip. The house is close the city centre, easy walking distance. Public car park just 1 min walk. The staff were extremely welcoming and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great. The rooms were basic but nicely furnished. There was a note to stay work was underway to refurbish which the bathrooms were in need of, a bit outdated, but clean and functional. There was also a note to explain the house is old and therefore not soundproofed which was evident at night as you could hear people walking up the stairs, right outside the room, and people talking and moving around in their rooms

Great little guest house in the city centre
Very welcoming front of house and chef. Amazing hot breakfast served at your preferred time. The street is a little noisy with students on their nights out but the guest house is clean and comfortable, with comfy pillows. Very good value for money and I would definitely stay again.

Great central location and clean and comfortable.
Great little B&B for a short stay. Close to the train station and other amenities. Room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Be warned, however, that the stairs are steep and narrow. Quite a challenge with heavy luggage!

We stayed in Bendene for a night and I must stay that it was lovely. The room was pretty and clean. They have this free coffee and tea and some marmalade, honey and oatmeal biscuit which is very delicious. Staff are friendly and the location of hotel is good enough to roam around the city centre. Overall we loved it there.

Basic stay
It was a basic room a little tired, and our bed was not what you would call comfortable The bathroom was shared, but was a couple of flights of stairs down, which is a fair way for a morning shower. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Stopped off for an overnight stay passing through. Location is good, with free overnight parking in a close by car park (6pm -8am) Staff were very helpful upon check in. Room was clean and tidy, with the only exception being it appeared the shower drain had not been cleaned for quite some time, and water did not flow freely down it. Shower running for 2 mins caused the shower tray to fill up. I removed it upon leaving to give a ‘heads up’ it needed doing!
