Wonderful Stay
We found the hotel to be very clean and in a great location, so close to the underground rail system. The price was good and the staff very accommodating. We had an annoying request every morning for any ice the lunch room could spare. Most morning they had extra they could give us without any hesitation. I will say that we did panic once we learned the rooms didn't have air conditioning. Being from Texas, it's a necessity. We quickly learned air conditioning was not needed because the nights were so cool, even in June. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Great value for money
I have stayed at this hotel many times and never disappointed. Good location and close to kings cross station. Bedroom clean and comfortable, bath and shower. Very big choice for breakfast so defo worth the upgrade. Quick easy check in. Best hotel in the area for that price.

The lobby was very smart , looked very upmarket, Unfortunately going up to the fourth floor It lost its shine, needs up dating, the room was quite acceptable, missing biscuits to have with your coffee it certainly fitted our Needs but didn't Excel.

Wish hotel was as nice as it looks on website!.
Very tired hotel. Very old and uncomfortable mattress. And as only secondary glazing . Very noisy. Web site looks good but in reality it’s not .

Hottest day of the year
The check in app wouldn't work so we waited approximately 20 mins at check in desk, staff member who asked me to try app again wasn't very helpful. He agreed to check us in online, gave us 2 room keys then walked away i had to ask him what room we were in. He told us room number didn't direct us to lifts or stairs, didn't tell us what time breakfast was served or pointed out any of the hotels amenities, pretty poor service upon arrival even more so considering it was the hottest day of the year so far and he couldn't even inform us bar was open or that there was a self serve shop etc A little disappointing that the rooms don't have air con ( so wouldn't have any heating in winter either as no radiators in rooms). Bed was very comfortable, breakfast choices were plenty. On check out we had issues AGAIN with the app and the lady on reception was so helpful and the manager came and assisted with check out. Overall quite a positive experience apart from the gentleman on desk at check in who couldn't care less and would benefit from some customer service basic training
