When I first arrived , I was a bit spooked because I had paid a high price for something akin to a Premier Inn/Campanile type hotel. I did buy into the concept but did so miss tea/coffee making facilities and a balcony. One I had settled , I loved the place and found the staff exceptional. What bowled me over was the spa and pools . Wow!! Absolutely second to none. The bar was very good drinkswise and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful ( particularly Bastien and Sami) The bar food was OK but lacked a bit of variety. If you did not want Pizza , there was very little else. The breakfast did not vary much . One day there were sausages , next day there were none. Needed a sports threrapy massage for my arthritic knees , and was asssured by a Manager and and a member of staff at the Nivea House that I could get one . I did feel very short changed by what was actually provided . Would stay again? Definitely - if only for the amazing spa

Ich habe bei der Buchung übersehen, dass ich Ei Zimmer mit „eingeschränkter“ Sicht habe. Eingeschränkte Sicht bedeutet Blick auf eine weiße Wand und wenn man hoch schaut sieht man nur noch das Monstrum von Hochhaus daneben. Eine Unverschämtheit soviel Geld für sie ein Zimmer zu nehmen, dazu kamen abgenutzte Badetücher mit Fransen, kein Wasserkocher oder Kaffeemaschine oder ein Willkommens Wasser. Von einem so hochpreisigem Hotel erwarte ich mehr. Auf Nachfrage nach einem anderen Zimmer war auch kein entgegenkommen. Wirklich sehr enttäuschend wenn man sich auf ein Entspannungswochenende freut und so enttäuscht wird.

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Kurzurlaub im aja Travemünde. Die Lage direkt zwischen Promenade und Strand ist großartig, die Aussicht vom Zimmer war super. Alles sauber und gepflegt und das Schwimmbad ein richtiges Highlight. Minimal Abzüge gibt es bei uns nur hier: Beim Abendessen war die Auswahl an Hauptgerichten eher klein. Wenn man beispielsweise keinen Spargel mag, bleibt u.U. nur noch ein warmes Gericht. Als Vegetarier ebenso. Getränke sind bei der Halbpension beim Abendessen nicht inklusive - nicht einmal Wasser. Das sollte transparenter kommuniziert werden, wir waren doch sehr irritiert darüber. Die Service-Mitarbeiterin beim Abendessen wirkte auf uns auch sehr forsch, wir hatten manchmal fast den Eindruck, zu stören, wenn wir eine zweite Portion Nachtisch gegessen haben (...ist ja schließlich Urlaub, oder?). Das Frühstück dagegen war hervorragend und mit so viel leckerer Auswahl, dass wir das am Abend gleich noch einmal hätten essen können.

Gefallen hat es mir da es direkt am Strand lag. Sauna war auch gut,was ich besser finden würde,das die Sainahandtücher allein wechseln kann,unsere ersten Saunatücher waren zu kurz. Es gab leider kein 2 zum Duschen,so daß wir unsere vom Zimmer genommen haben. Leider wurde uns dann ein Handtuch aus der Tasche genommen. Für uns ist es kein 4 Sterne Hotel. Wie sind nicht pingelig,aber 3 Sterne ist es nur wert. Da im Zimmer eine Klimaanlage fehlte,zu dem gab es keine Utensilien (Wattestäbchen usw),zu wenig Licht,zu wenige Steckdosen. Handcreme bzw Körperlotion fehlten usw. Leider werden die Zimmer nur alle 2 Tage gereinigt (bei uns waren trotzdem Staubwolken unter den Möbel,hab sogar unter der Couch eine Insulinnadel gefunden) 3 Silberfische waren auch auf dem Zimmer. Trotzdem ist das Hotel gut.
