I only stay here for two reasons:
A. Location is fabulous and we love the street and nearby restaurants and shops.
B. I’m usually buying more than one room since we travel in teams and it is affordable.
My concern is two-fold:
First, since we come here every year and reserve multiple rooms, I would think you would give us your best rooms and show appreciation for our repeat business. But this time, you gave us rooms that had shower heads with no pressure. One towel per room. And the rooms were on the front of the hotel where all you hear is constant noise from the street.
Second, and this has happened before — during the night the electricity regularly goes off for hours at a time. The front desk clerk claims they can’t get in touch with the maintenance person. It happened last year on a couple of nights. It happened this year for over 6 hours. I believe they do it to save money on the electricity bill. And if not, THEN GET THE PROBLEM REPAIRED. Just fix the problem.
And then you charge me full rate at check out after knowing we are extremely unhappy with our stay. That’s not even good business strategy.
