Fantastic Visit
Fantastic location, wonderful staff (shoutout to Freddy!) and wonderful amenities. I cannot say enough good things about the accommodations and staff at Slipway. Courteous, friendly and thoughtful. They assisted me at the bank across the courtyard, provided restaurant suggestions and arranged private transport and accompaniment for me to do some market shopping in the city. Excellent value for money. I look forward to staying again!

Exceeded Expectations
Slipway was more than I expected. The hotel had shopping centers and restaurants that gave it a resort style feeling. Locals come to watch the sunset in the evenings. The breakfast and dinner staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Kudos to Bhoke for exceptional customer service!

Unfortunately I did not get to enjoy all this property had to offer due to a late check in and VERY early departure. However, the staff was extraordinary and made sure my short stay was superb. They prepared a to-go breakfast for me due to said early departure which was extremely appreciated. All facilities were in excellent working order and I was grateful for the free bottled water. My only complaint was that there wasn’t a trashcan in the room so I had to leave all trash on the bathroom counter which wasn’t ideal. I was a bit worried that the nightlife would keep me away due to where the hotel is located but this wasn’t an issue. Would definitely recommend this place!

Can do better. Poor shower room safety
The hotel has good exterior and good service, however the room we got does not have shower room safety. The shampoo and the shower gel are placed outside the shower room and you have to walk on the slippery floor to get them, In addition there is no shower curtain on the shower room so the splashes all the way below the door and into under the bed you have to call house keeping after shower to dry it. Then the overall final finish of the surface is still rough, on the sink, am sure with a good management they can do better.

Hotel Slipway is a beautiful and well maintained hotel. The rooms (executive) are specious and true to their pictures. Management might just want to refresh the furniture in the near future to keep up with the competition. Overall, great location, staff, restaurants, and experience. Will definitely be back!
