Guangzhou's finest boutique hotel
Without a doubt, my favorite boutique hotel in China -- maybe the world. It is small, quaint and extremely charming. The entire staff makes me feel at home and like their most special guest. I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Guangzhou. The hotel only has 21 rooms and each one is unique. I recommend having one on the 6th floor for the best view of the Pearl River. The rooftop bar is delightful in a spectacular setting overlooking the river. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and I highly recommend the restaurant for a fine Cantonese dinner. Each dish is beautifully presented and made with the freshest ingredients. The chef is a highly acclaimed Cantonese chef. They also have a shuttle for the Canton Fair. A short walk to Beijing Road for shopping. Cudos to the entire team: Sandy and Randy as managers are so helpful and welcoming, Naomi, Anne, Michael, Frances, Vivian, Zoe & Sai always greet you with a smile and willingness to help with anything.

What we liked most about this stay was the incredible hospitality of Naomi and Randye. Within one day we felt completely at home and we loved our room, the location and the small intimate feeling of this boutique hotel. I have been to GZ more than 25 times and stayed at many hotels.
