To stay or not to stay

I was concerned at first about the area. This hotel is right off freeway in residential neighborhood. There were bars on all access areas of the parking garage. I had to use a phone to connect with desk as office closed due to Covid. Really? As I approached my room via a courtyard, which was nice, I entered the room and it was spotlessly clean. My first complaint was the thin bedspread. It wasn’t enough weight to keep you warm without having to sleep with the heater on. Secondly, at 3:00 am, a loud ongoing noise came from the adjoining room, like Maybe a shower. No idea but it went on and off several times before I put in ear plugs. The process was easy. The price good. Would I recommend - sure. Would I stay again - doubt it as a single woman traveler. I just wasn’t comfortable.
