The hotel was amazing and had a great view. Enjoyed the food and a great customer service. The hotel even rented us a car to go sight seeing and experience Munnar. The road to get to the hotel was terrible. Except that, amazing experience

Good hotel. Good srvice. Best view But nothing to do in the evenings. Very high price for anything extra. A bottle of minral water 120++. Pay for same bottle 10 ropi at local resturant!

More than a little disappointing.
The hotel is impressive upon first glance, but when you look a little more closely, many things are not up to 5 star standards. Most staff were very pleasant and helpful, but we had only just arrived after a 5 hour drive and the tour organizer was hassling us to choose which activity we wanted to take part in, presumably because they are not free and he was probably on commission. Way too persistent. Pillows in the room smelt strongly of wood fire smoke and rugs next to the bed were very slippy. No instructions for the fir in the room, or any way if turning it on. No room service menu in the room. However, the dinner buffet was enjoyable, and the views were wonderful. Drive up to the property was nothing to write home about, very dirty and unkempt. Music for the evening bonfire wasn't really appropriate.

Aesthetically, this hotel is new and the rooms and grounds are beautiful. I did however feel as though the hotel did not have a personality. This hotel has two restaurants : one is a sizzler style which should be revamped entirely. Garçons restaurant serves both Indian and random continental dishes. Between the 2 restaurants it appears as though they were not specializing in any one thing. Everything was average and nothing was great. Great location for treks through the plantations.

Very good hotel with amazing views. Food was excellent in main restaurant, not so good in speciality restaurant. Atmosphere in the main restaurant was very poor, too bright. Staff were awesome. Rooms were clean and really nice. The only down side was the hotel treats you a little like a cash cow. The hotel charged 2000 IRP for a taxi to the tea museum but the actual cost if we'd just flagged one down was 380IRP. We paid 2000 IRP to the hotel for myself and my partner to do a morning hike, it was a nice hike, not professional but a nice hike around the hotel, maybe worth 300 each. The guy doing the hikes was nice.
