Quirky and special with monkey interaction
I chose it for its quirkiness and proximity to the Monkey Forest. The many interactions with monkeys may not be for everyone but it made my stay. You have to remember you can’t eat in your balcony or in my case drink black tea because you will get mugged. The pool is small but adequate for cooling off. They are replacing the bungalow’s roofs which is noisy but should be over soon. In reception there is water cooler to refill your water bottle which was big plus for me
Uninvited tea tester. Very confused when touched outside of mug and it was cold but when he tried to drink it was way too hot.
Nets are required because there are gaps around the windows
Rice fields out the back- hence mosquitoes but I never had a problem

Do not recommend at all. Staff fail to explain hotel details and are thieves and lie. Upon check in we were told coffee was free from restaurant as we were guests at hotel. On check out our daughter checked our room but failed to check bathroom where items of clothes (silk night wear) were accidentally left. They totally embarrassed me by calling our driver to say we hadn't paid our coffee bill on checkout day. Later that night when I realised my silk nightwear was missing I contacted the hotel the following morning only to be told no I hadn't left anything behind and that my daughter had checked the room. This is poor form from staff at the hotel. Management need to understand this behavior isn't good enough! And yes, next time I will check the room myself however that will make no difference to lying staff!

5/5 for a 3-star hotel. Friendly service, beautiful garden and well-designed room however, I found the pillows very uncomfortable. Hopefully by the time you read this they may have upgraded the pillows. The ones in our room were too high for me, and the reception gave me a lower pillow, but they felt quite lumpy. Besides that, it was a good location, close to the monkey forest (where the monkeys were cheeky but entertaining); also close to nice restaurants and cafes. I would stay here again.

Lovely place, it was clean and comfortable. We had booked a garden room And our booking was missing but they did accommodate us with an upper level suite. Sadly we have some mobility issues so the stairs were tough but we appreciated the upgrade. The staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

The property was cute and beautiful! I loved all the boho decor everywhere and how each room was personalized. The food at the restaurant was delicious. They don’t remove your plates quickly but that seems to be a recurring theme in all of Bali lol the staff were great. I couldn’t download the gojek app so they called them for me whenever I needed to go somewhere. Super close to the monkey forest so you can see them walking to town or even on the property sometimes!

Beautiful and Relaxing Bali Bohemia
Had a wonderful stay in Bali Bohemia! It was a really quirky, novel and pretty place to stay. Rooms were large with lots of space. The gardens were beautiful. The hotel is very central, literally 5 steps away from monkey forest and less than 10 minutes away from the central streets of Ubud. The reception staff were wonderful! They helped us with everything we needed including tours, travel transfers etc! No request was an issue and they were both so so friendly! As mentioned, the gardens and pool were gorgeous and we had been warned that the monkeys come in but they’re aren’t friendly and will take your stuff so it felt a little uncomfortable to chill around the pool. That is a very small complaint however because there is so much to see do and experience in Ubud so there’s little time to be there anyways! The restaurant was super tasty and offered a gorgeous selection! The open Mike night was fun and lively too!
