Don't consider checking in before 3pm
We flew to Canberra for a funeral which was at 3pm. As per requirement when flying, the flight was early morning to ensure we got there. This meant arrival in CBR was around 11am. Check-in for hotel is 3pm. Asked if it was possible to get into room earlier to change, which I was advised would be accommodated. However, it was not - had to change in toilets. So, a little disappointing. The gent in the bar was amazing during the three hours wait before quickly changing in toilets. Staff at check in/out were polite but it became obvious they were not interested in doing anything to facilitate checkin. Provided excuses which from my observations were not factual. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay
