The property is a flagship of adventure of meeting new people from all over the world. If you are into this kind of thing and making sure you never eat breakfast alone, then this is for you. If you are a Hilton or Hyatt type of person who values comfort over human interaction, then perhaps this place isn’t for you. The owner goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home. She is the most genuine and warm person you would ever meet.
Great place with wonderful and welcoming staff. I will absolutely stay here next time I'm in town! Two patios with food and beer, a few awesome birds (not loud at night) as a bonus
Good hostal, nice staff, and close to where I needed to be.
Pictures of the site are very outdated. Was hoping for more socializing. The owner, Alva, and desk help, Oleana, were both helpful, friendly and kind. I would come again.
I have been staying at the Panama house for over 10 years.I have choose this place because it's walking distance to grocery stores, restaurant ,shopping and the metro. The owners are always very helpful and speak English. This is the first year they did not serve a buffet breakfast. The breakfast was very sparse. The rooms all haveair conditioners and are kept cleaned.
Pros: low price, cozy inner garden, Rio the parrot! Cons: super-small room, very basic breakfast, no English spoken I chose this place mainly for the great reviews but I was disappointed. For a few more bucks one can get a good hotel room in a better location. I won't recommend this place
WiFi coverage doesn’t reach the room. Smelly common area due to kitchen cooking. The entire property is old and requires renovation. Bed linen came together with hairs and dirty marks. Breakfast was only acctepable and there is room for improvement.
great family rooms options ..they have a tropical bird and kids area for kids to play..feels very inviting and like home..stayed 2 nights with a big group and it was the perfect place.
Really good cultural, tropical b& b ..great breakfast included ..has a hotel kitchen and fridge you can use...great prices nice owner
The host was wonderful and went if her way to make you comfortable. She's so hard-working. I enjoyed my overnight stay.
