The room was reasonably clean. We saw a few insencts we did not want in our luggage, so kept them zipped up.
The road noise was loud in the room. Manila is just a noisy city! Ear plugs will be part of my kit from now on.
The room price was great = 2000 p. for our one night stay. We put on our reservation our flight arrival time. They did not send a shuttle for us. I did not have cell service, and had not installed grab, so getting there was expensive via taxi (850 p). We thought, well, at least we can use the free shuttle on the way back to the airport the next morn8ng….
We arranged the time with the desk, and they said the shuttle would be there when we wanted it there. The next morning, our time came, and they told us the shuttle was full and had just left. We could wait an hour to get the shuttle when it returned. We had not planned on an extra hour… so they asked, do you want to go, we can use grab to get you a shuttle. We said yes, expecting the hotel would be paying for the shuttle, but when it arrived, they said it would be for us to pay since it was not their shuttle. The cost was 320 p via grab, so it was much less expensive, and we paid it to keep on schedule.
Note their “free” shuttle service starts at 6 am, not 24 hrs as the listing claims. I am not sure how late.
So I would say the room was a cheep and safe place to crash for a few hours, but not a stay location. Just don’t count on the free shuttle. We wanted the free shuttle to work…
