Tranquility by the Lake
The place is nice but still s lot of construction going on. The hotel is by the lake but on not really good road leading to it from the airport. I was the only one stayed there when I arrived. I have requested airport shuttle the day before arrival and nobody replied me back. When I arrived to Entebbe I did not have anyone picking me up. The soldier had to call them to send some. Later they said they did not get email and even requested me to pay $20 for airport pick up that was not even specified anywhere when I booked I had to pay. Also I paid per room that allows maximum 2 people per room. When my friend came to visit me and it was too late to go anywhere and there were not taxi or Boda Boda around I suggested him to spend the night. Later hotel tried to charge me $10 extra for another person when max was 2 people per room. I did not pay neither. Food there is good but you can get cheaper option in town. They also advertise that they accept credit card but when you check out they demand cash and tells you story that credit card machine does not work. One employee there told me that the owner does not want to take credit card and keeps telling everyone that cash only. If they can improve better approach to foreign customers the place would be much better. But location by the lake makes this place relaxing and unique

Lakeside, new hotel, great staff, little isolated
The hotel's manager and staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. That's what made the stay! The rooms are faithful to the photos - clean, seem new, and my top (4th) floor room had a nice view of Lake Victoria. All rooms have balconies. Great for a quick stay in Entebbe, on your way to travel within the country. It's close to the three main attractions - Ngamba Island, the Wildlife Center, and the Botanical Gardens. However, it's in a remote area on the lake that's being built up and you have to pay a taxi or the very kind owner to drive you out. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, which, if there is an event on the weekend, plays great Ugandan music, which could be loud, but was turned off by 10 or 11pm. The breakfast is ample and fine, and the menu is limited to chicken and fish for other meals, however, the whole fish was really good.
