I booked this place because I went vacation with my kids and this place had twin beds for each kid which was nice , the location was good and close to bazar and metro , but I never spend night in such a dirty place , it was terribly dirty Overall the closets were broken , hole in the wall, bathroom had dirt crust and looked like never been cleaned and bathroom smelled so bad , when I requested for cleaning they said ok ok we make sure room is cleaned and when I returned at night nothing was touched In 9 nights I never got a clean linen or towel We had to our own towels and dry in the room Cuz when we requested for towel they said we don’t have . We asked for another room since the bathroom smelled really bad , they guy said that we don’t have another for a week , and by the way what you guys expect - it’s not a 5 star hotel - But zero star hotel can’t not be worse than this There was no management , I asked for managers number , they said why you need manager , she is not here I felt so guilty infront of my kids that I waisted their vacation When you come to hotel after dark there were 5-6 guys sitting in the lobby and I didn’t feel safe there I do not recommend this place to anyone I am not a picky person ,but things that I saw in this place is not acceptable by anyone

It was very much unexpected,
The place very dirty, stinky, Location terrible No taxi goes to that location I had to carry my luggage a long way to main road. I left accidentally my phone charger in the room when I left I called them soon after but they surprisingly didn't accept. I never ever recommend them to anyone.

Bad choice if you want to relax
Very noisy neighborhood, very crowded and hard to get around the immediate area. No mosquito nets means that you're relying on AC at night, which is loud, and air quality is bad (room smells of cigarette smoke). We had a power outage a whole night, and it was a choice of either feeding loud mosquitoes, or sleeping in a puddle of sweat. Room was cleaned daily, but there were spiders, a few ants, and I even saw a bug roam around the shower drain. And again, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Staff was good though. We didn't interact a lot, but interaction was pleasant, as long as they understood English. We had a misunderstanding about late check-out, which created problems for us, and for them, but everyone was polite and understanding and all ended without bad feelings.

Great location, excellent value, helpful staff
Check-in very efficient. Be aware there is no lift. Most front desk staff know English and are very helpful. Good Turkish breakfast (boiled eggs, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, sliced sausages, and plenty of good Turkish bread) every morning. Our room was small but efficient. Air conditioning worked fine. We had a small refrigerator in the room, which was nice. Could buy bottles of cold water from the cooler downstairs. There was a small TV in the room -- we didn't use it. Wifi was unpredictable -- usually OK. Our room had no desk or chair, so working on my laptop meant sitting on the bed. Only one electrical outlet in the room. Beds were comfortable. Dim lighting in the bathroom. Hot water all day long. We stayed two weeks, the sheets / towels were changed once, which was OK. (Rooms cleaned daily.) Probably could request more frequent changes -- the staff tries very hard to be accommodating and helpful. The street has numerous small eateries and Bufe shops within easy walking distance. The hotel is located in a working street -- most shops close by 6 PM. Some eateries are open a little later. Great way to experience authentic Istanbul off the main tourist path. Easy access to pubic transport for other parts of the city. Walking distance to Sultan Ahmet area (about 20 minutes). A great hotel in a vibrant area. Front desk staff helped arrange transportation to and from Ataturk airport. We would choose this hotel again. Wonderful experience.

Our family was welcomed by theirs.
Our family of 10 arrived late afternoon and had to depart at 3am. They ordered our supper for us and arranged us a reasonably priced shuttle to the airport. They even prepared sandwiches for us to take for breakfast. We felt like part of the family!

Not as expected from the pictures
Me and my family were so disappointed with this hotel we stayed 7 nights in this hotel we had our bed sheets changed once even the housekeeping ladies clean the room every day they tidy the beds without changing the bed sheets or the pillow cover we had to wait two days to get towels after requesting them, on our forth night when we come back to the hotel room I went to the bathroom I found it flooded with water leaking from the ceiling next to the fan when I asked they its not dangerous and is late know we will fix it in the morning but they didn't do until we left and about the buffet breakfast it's ridiculous same thing every day boiled eggs slice cheese salami potatoes olives feta cheese water melon and bread no fresh milk at all no juices no cereal honestly we were shocked by the standards of this hotel nevertheless the staff were nice and polite with luck of communication at the what I can say I can't recommend this hotel to no one they have to improve the quality of the service they offer to their guests.
