Small, quiet gem
I was very happy with our stay at the Boarding House. The property is very cute and the woman at the front desk was nice and helpful when we needed something. The bed was also super comfortable and everything looked quite clean. My only complaint was that when we took our first shower, the shower gel had not been refilled and we needed to request it at the front desk. There were also a few smudges on the bathroom wall that we cleaned ourselves because they were bothering me. I would also suggest bringing a smaller car if you can because the parking spaces are quite tight, but that is just a fact of the size of the parking lot. I'm not sure what would be done if a car could not fit, though there does seem to be a decent amount of parking across the street. Regardless, we did not really have a problem with this and so did not ask.

Great location, friendly staff, nicely decorated
For our anniversary we chose to stay at the Boarding House Cape May. It turned out to be the perfect choice for a super-comfy soft bed, quiet surroundings, and within walking distance to the ocean, sights, and shops. We enjoyed meeting other travelers at the evening happy hours; the local wine and beer selection was really good! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will stay there again!

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Boarding House. The staff were friendly and helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping. They were very welcoming, gave our dog a biscuit at check-in, and even asked how she liked it at the end of our stay. The rooms and decor are fresh and updated, giving off a cozy vibe. Overall, this is a lovely place and we will definitely be back!

Love this hotel and all it’s amenities. Worth the
We loved the Boarding House! It was the perfect hotel for our first time at Cape May! It was very clean, updated, and the customer service was excellent. They even called me a few days later after booking our room to make sure if we were coming in with pets since they are pet friendly. The front desk was very informative. She answered all my questions and there were a lot due to us not being familiar with Cape May. My only discomfort, which was not a big deal, was that the bed was so soft that it kinda gave me and my husband a back ache the next morning. The A/C was also a bit cold and my husband couldn’t figure out how to make it a little warmer. But nothing that the blanket couldn’t fix. Just those things. And so I still would recommend the Boarding House.

Very clean and modern - but pricey.
It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach - but the style of hotel is very cute. Very modern - but motel style with each room exiting directly outside.
