HORRIBLE
The property was run down. There were people smoking marijuana in the parking lot. Women walking around partially nude. And there were two loud arguments using very foul language until well after midnight. Two separate sets of people. It was awful. We were supposed to stay through Monday. We left early Saturday morning and did not return.

Disappointed Zip Line Broke.
Stay was nice. But after paying for unlimited rides on the zip line for two grandchildren $16.00 each. They got one ride ea. and it broke down. They did do rock climbing and bungee. But my grandson was too tall for the bungee. Very disappointed the zip line did not work. They did not offer a refund.

The property was dated. We had a water leak at our second day and was moved to a room that was dirty and had roaches. We refused that room and at 10 pm that night moved to another dated room. Not enough staff to work the amenities.

Calypso Cay Resort is not a resort.. It’s a wannabe timeshare property surrounding by several hotels and uses a so-called adventure park to lure tourists to stay at their property. They’re reluctant to provide relevant details pertaining to the amenities and the additional daily fees to utilize them. When issues were brought to the park manager’s attention, no return phone call was made. Florida has plenty of better accommodations !!!

The resort was just right for a quick family vacation. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pools and landscape were well maintained. My only complaint is that every morning there was equipment being ran loudly around the resort (leaf blower, pressure washer, etc). This would often begin between 7-8:00 am. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the lighthouse pool and the music began playing between 10:00-11:00 am and shut off between 10:00-11:00 pm. It was way too loud that it often shook the windows of our 4th floor room. Besides the noise complaints this is a nice resort.
