Good location, comfortable stay
We stayed for 2 nights, 2 adults and 1 teenager, lovely first impression, good location, parking was a bit out of the way but could drop bags and then park. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room, would have expected the sofa bed to be made up, however this is something we maybe should have requested, they could then not send anyone into the room due to covid rules so we struggled with that and preparing the bedding. Slight wear and tear in the bathroom and didn't seem to clear the condensation very well, little signs of damp, not an issue for the 2 nights we stayed but if staying for longer and needing to dry clothes this could be an issue. Other than that clean and comfortable and we all slept well. Would stay again.

Friendly, comfortable and great location
Very good reception staff, got us checked in early with a warm efficient manner. Had a small problem with the room. Mentioned it to the receptionist on our way out and by the time we returned all fixed. Can’t ask for better service than that.

Stayed at this location during a short trip to Edinburgh. Excellent location, but absolutely terrible comfort. The only sleeping option is a sofa bed and when I complained at reception I was told this was the same in all rooms. Honestly never slept anywhere less comfortable in my life.

Great alternative to a standard hotel.
Location is good with discounted parking nearrby. Under this new normal things are well thought out. Cannot fault the accommodation or staff, my only comment would be to look at fitting anti-slip mat or similar in the shower.

Disappointing stay
Chose this accommodation for a short stay in Edinburgh based on the good reviews on here. Location wise it was good, but that's about all I can recommend about it. Worse part is the bed, basically your only option is a hugely uncomfortable sofa bed. After 3 sleepless nighty, I'll be glad to go home. Upon raising it with the reception I was told that this was how all the rooms were. Regretted not staying at a proper hotel.

This is a great place to stay, the location is fantastic in beautiful old town. Just a short walk from the station. Having a little kitchen was so nice to be able to make a cup of tea and keep milk fresh. I would stay here again when visiting Edinburgh
