Didn't even get to check in - was told when we phoned earlier in the day to call when we were on the road to advise what time we would be arriving as it was going to be after 9pm. The staff were so rude when we called to advise our arrival time. Basically told us if we weren't there by 9 we wouldn't be getting in - is 9pm what they consider "till late" which is the closing time of their establishment.

Do not recommend, it's like a party hostel
While the staff were friendly, we do not recommend this hotel. It's more like a hostel. There are no bathrooms in the rooms, there is one female toilet and shower to share across 17 rooms, and the men have 3. There are no air cons in the room so they are very very hot and stuffy. You can hear every noise from the pub downstairs and the walls are paper thin, other guests were partying in there rooms past 2am.

Nicely refurbished old building within walking distance of cafes, beach, pier but the room we stayed in faced the main road and setting sun and was so noisy and hot and didn't have air-con or bar fridge - we didn't sleep well at all. The shared ladies bathroom only has one toilet. Bed was comfortable, nice clean linen and easy walk to beach but overall too noisy and hot and overpriced for basic room.
