This hotel has seen better days and is in need of a bit of spritzing up. COVID may be the blame, along with the airport, which was previously just down the street, relocating to the other side of Puerto Princesa and essentially leaving this hotel on its own. Still a reasonable location if you rely on trikes for transportation. Located between 2 "Gentleman's Clubs", but no noticeable overspill from those establishments. We spent 8 nights here and our room was in the back (definitely request upper floor, rear of the hotel room) and it was quiet except for the 0430 crowing of roosters. T.I.P. (This Is Philippines) and you are going to find that almost anywhere. Breakfast was included but clearly made about the time the rooster crowed. Cold, rubbery eggs and some lunch meats or hot dogs. Not really worth getting out of bed. No hot water kettle in room (!!??) and when Filipina wife called desk to request one she was told that they had one. I showed my Western (White American) face at the desk less than an hour later and requested one and it was immediately delivered. Needed additional towels and a blanket, but dealt directly with housekeeping staff and was immediately taken care of. Had housekeeping every other day and room was well-cleaned. The 200 PHP ($4.00 USD) left on the bed certainly helped, and was appreciated. We live and travel all over the P.I. and other parts of Asia. This hotel is just "middle-of-the-road" and I wouldn't stay here again for a long stay.
