Good AC and good bed. That’s it for the good. The property seemed to be under construction. Our room appeared to be the only one in use. No other guests in late July. Tells you something. The halls were filled with furnishings and junk from other rooms being worked on. Our room was on the third floor when other more convenient rooms were empty, seemingly being worked on. The owner is a nice well meaning person but overslept breakfast on our first morning. To her credit she apologized and paid us for our breakfast that we ate out. The second morning she made breakfast but it was nothing to crow about. I had previously told her I was diabetic and wanted fruit and yogurt and or eggs. She had yogurt but it was the sweetened supermarket variety, which I can’t eat. Her scrambled eggs were over cooked. The coffee was weak. We ate breakfast out on the third morning. The lock to our room was not working properly. Neither did the door to our bathroom close properly. The room had no real clothes closet, just an alcove with a clothes rod. Again the owner is nice and has good intentions but I think running a B&B is perhaps beyond her resources/ abilities. The building has character and real possibilities and is in a nice convenient location in Narragansett but she needs some help and probably an influx of funds to get the premises up to standards. We are pretty easy to please and didn’t expect a high end place. Still really disappointed.

Comfy room and tasty breakfast! Narragansett is a charming town, and this inn makes a good base camp.

The front room I had was good. But would have been very tight if my wife was with me.

Great B&B Option with excellent dog on the premise

The owner of the inn greeted us immediately and was friendly throughout our stay. Every need was taken care of, including my need to spend some quality time with her lovely therapy dog, Gretchen! It was the perfect distance from downtown Narragansett - we could have easily walked there, but the weather didn't cooperate. Within a few miles of URI, so a great option for parents visiting their college student.

    Great B&B in Narragansett!

Within walking distance of Narragansett Beach and several good restaurants. Owner operator couldn't have been nicer - great breakfast, coffee whenever you want it. Allowed access to upstairs fridge. Our own TV with lots of channels. WiFi. We had our own bathroom but short walk down the hall. Highly recommend.

Website notes that breakfast starts at 8am. When we arrived the innkeeper asked us what time we wanted breakfast; the earliest time offered was 8:30a, which we took. It was also noted that beverages were available (coffee, tea...) at anytime in the dining room. Well we woke up and headed downstairs at 8am. No coffee or hot water brewing. 8:30a rolled around and the innkeeper stated she overslept. We did not get breakfast until 9am. The inn is in need of cleaning and upkeep. The front door handle was missing a screw; upon entering the front room there was a drill and some other stuff on a side table. The table in the front room was littered with old papers and mail and the small trash barrels needed to be emptied. Our room had a hole in the ceiling and the grout in the shower was dirty. The shower head was replaced, but rusty hardware was not. The inn is for sale. The innkeeper is very sweet. The inn is within walking distance to the beach. The room was comfortable.

Blueberry Cove is that B&B that you return to year after year because you have built a relationship with the owner, you enjoy the consistency of the experience, and it allows you to be you. No pretensions. The room is spacious, the owner knows her town, and it's super convenient to enjoy the best of Narragansett.
