Great Place to stay
Location of this resort was close to several iconic Black Hills attractions. After Labor Day, the bulk of the restaurants and shops at the resort understandably closed for the season. The grill. Was open until 7:30 for burgers

Mt. Rushmore trip
If you like camping,this is the place as this is a KOA, complete with flies and mosquitos. We stayed in a cabin away from the campers, market, main office and restaurant. The cabin had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator, along with dishes for those staying longer. They also had pots and pans, which I wasn't sure where we would use them as there was no stove :/ Although they provided breakfast, we had to get in our car and drive to the main lodge to get it. Breakfast was marginal, coffee was ok. The restaurant was nice, good food and full bar. It was the end of their season, so not all of the shops were open. This was very close to most of the monuments.

Nice place but "breakfast" a negative
The place was nice, convenient to Mt. Rushmore. We were there for two days. The negative was the "breakfast". Nothing hot except the coffee. No eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, etc., nothing to eat with a fork. That was the sole place on our two-week vacation with no real breakfast, and the reason we would find some other place the next time.

could have be better
The room was in great shape, comfortable bed , clean lost of things to do, limited parking , too many golf carts in parking spots, the breakfast wasn't much was expecting a little better if you were gluten free good luck nothing but sweets.
