Hotel Zinkensdamm

Staff was very friendly, room was clean, a bit tiny but it had everything we needed - towels, soaps, tea-making utilities, TV, power outlets, etc. The only thing making our stay a bit uncomfortable was that we thought we only had one blanket per two people - the one on the bed. In the morning, we discovered there was another one hidden away in the cupboard. So my sleep quality was a bit bad due to that, but I learned to check the cupboards next time!

While a little farther from the city centre, this welcoming hotel/hostel was a great choice for my family of 4. The staff were extremely helpful in providing advice on sites, tours, and medical facilities when my son became injured. The breakfast was amazing and I loved that we were also able to use the self-catering kitchen to prepare meals, if desired. A wonderful playground is a 2 minute walk away and the Tbana about 10 mins away. Opportunities for shopping and nightlife are also close by. A great location overall and I would stay here again.

Great location, near the Metro station, lovely park adjacent, peaceful and quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. Hotel very clean. Good breakfast selection. Only very slight negative was our room was quite small. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

The hotel was nice - restaurant and snacks onsite. Nice outdoor area. No ironing board or iron in room - but, it was nearby down the hall. I don't know if the hotel messed up or if Orbitz did - we booked a hotel room and were given a hostel room when we arrived. Looking back over our booking, it says nothing about us booking a hostel (and the hostel room was like a worn down dorm room- not at all worth the price I prepaid). I spoke with the staff and they moved us to a hotel room with no problem. Just beware when booking through Orbitz. The hotel is within walking distance to public transportation - but, with luggage, it was a bit of a hassle (due to hills, etc.). Very close to a nice playground and beach area. .

An excellent hotel in all respects. Very friendly helpful staff, lovely clean rooms, delicious and plentiful breakfast, great location. I would recommend it to everyone and will certainly stay there next time I visit Stockholm

This is a great place to stay in central Stockholm, 10 mins walk from Zinkensdamm metro station, in a park, older style wooden hotel with great feel, all facilities good, room spacious and clean, tea, coffee, fridge, great bathroom with typical swedish engineered shower, great dining room, though menu a bit short for long stays. TV mainly local channels, but wifi is great, so not an issue. I have stayed twice now and will repeat again. Park location is a big plus to unwind in evening.

Stayed 2 nights and a good location, clean, safe, and easy to get to. About a 7 minute walk to the metro station. Breakfast was fantastic! People were kind and it was really easy to check-in. Would stay here again.
