The Aqueen is a go-to for me when making a quick trip to Singapore on a budget. For 2 days when only a clean comfortable room is required it works well. Free WiFi, and a coffee shop adjacent. There is a 24 hour convenience market, an outdoor seating restaurant with cold beer and local food within 2 minute walk.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Cons: Bad soundproofing - Could hear all noises happening out in the hallway, and the pipe waterworks from above. Room size - very small. Only had space for 1 person to walk around the bed. Room smell - smelt like smoke even though specifically requested for non-smoking (had it changed in the end but the replacement room had no windows). Shower size - extremely small and shared with toilet & sink

Definitely worth the price

Nice and many eating places, movie theather across the street, grocery across the street
