This is a wonderful hotel! The decor is superb, you feel transported to an elegant era. The staff is very friendly and does everything to make guests comfortable. The location is unbeatable, steps from all the main attractions. Very walkable! All in all, I would stay there again. Highly recommend it!

A small but very charming hotel. Centrally located in old Quebec City! All of the sites were within a 5-10 minute walk

Very nice , cozy hotel with some mix of modern decor, antique rooms with modern bathrooms ( best combo ), nice breakfast ( a bit of everything, excellent croissants) was in wonderful settings. I knew ahead of time that noise ( you can hear neighbours) will be an issue, but it was a very easy trade-off for great location. We had small beautifully decorated room which was more than enough for 2 people, and which even had seating area. Loved our stay, and would recommend.

Superb location! A lovely old mansion; the rooms all have different and creative decor, so it’s definitely not the run-of-the-mill place to stay. A friendly and accommodating staff! The only thing that could be a problem for some is no elevator for rooms located on the second floor.

Very good
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel. However I would not recommend this property to anyone with mobility issues, as there are stairs into the building and rooms on the 2nd & 3rd floor. There are not a lot of amenities, as this is a small hotel. If that’s a requirement for someone, they might want to consider a larger hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean. My only wish is that they provided a Keurig coffee maker in the rooms. It would have been nice to have a fresh coffee when you wanted and not have to get dressed to access the coffee down on the first floor in the mornings. It’s a great location where you can walk to everything in Old Quebec City. My husband and I walked between 8-10 km/day while we were there.

The location of this property cannot be beat. You are situated in a very quiet part of the upper city, but VERY close to major landmarks such as the chateau Frontenac and the funicular. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Parking is available but expensive. However, the rooms are VERY small. And don't you dare say so when you complete an Expedia check-in survey, because the staff will accost you about your feedback. We checked in, and I did the quick feedback survey, and was shocked when we returned to the property after a long day of wandering the city, and one of the members of their staff approached me and DEMANDED that I explain why I had indicted that my first impression was "ok." I stated that the room was small, and that the bathroom was very tiny (the sink was OUTSIDE the bathroom in the room, that is how tiny the bathroom is in room 34), and she berated me that the room dimensions are all listed online. I found this to be very rude and unprofessional. Furthermore, when we arrived, they changed our room number right in front of us, we were supposed to be in 18 (first floor, presumably a larger room), and reegated us to the third floor into allegedy an equal room. We paid more for a "theme" room. But there is no "theme" in room 34. This is an economy hotel that masquerades as a "boutique" establishment. We were overall satisfied with the visit, but the visit we had did not match the visit we had booked online.

Very good
Great location and staff very kind and helpful. Small room but elegantly appointed - tiny bathroom that could have used an update. Given a return to Quebec, we would book again - excellent value
