i booked a room on line and requested a room face the marikina valley, got a reply that they will try. when i check in the reception area i was told that the room rate i got was really located facing the buildings at the back of the hotel. the reason i choose the hotel was for the view in time for the new years celebration. they should have told me that the room rate i got will not give me the view i wanted. i tried the reception desk if i can change room and willing to pay more but i was told fully booked already. not sure if it was and issue of the online agency or marco polo.

Awesome service and staff!
It was great, a small issue, but the Duty Manager Janzy was great and took care of it immediately, just like Toni last time, also the housekeeping team is awesome. Another wonderful stay at Marco Polo, still my go-to hotel for my trips.

Outstanding service!
Good service as usual, attentive, quick and helpful staff. One glitch during the stay, but the duty manager Toni, was on top of the issue and resolved the issue quickly. It was inconvenient at the time, but I was very happy with the quick action to make my stay better. Service is really top-notch compared to other 5 star hotels. Always great to stay here, I already booked my next night :)

You can add more food choices on your buffet.
The place was great and very clean. The service is very good from check in to check out amd in breakfast buffet area too. The bar is also good but expensive food and drinks. It is possible that they add more choices in their buffet breakfast did not enjoy much on food.

Consistently good! This is our go-to Hotel for staycations. The best amenities and room tyoe that you will find in the area for the price. Rooms are better than Edsa Shangrila, and overall better than Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Joy Nostlag , and Discovery.

Inspite of our late check in, we still had to wait for 1.5hrs to be given a room. Checking-in itself took more than 30mins already. When told our room would be ready within 10-15mins, I asked if all my requests have been put to place. Was told yes. However, 1.5hrs later, after 3x having to follow up, when we finally got our room, none of my requests were in place. Had to call housekeeping for it. We were already late for our scheduled activity. Was told at the front desk that due to the delay in check-in, we will be allowed late check-out, until 6pm. A day after, I got a call from another person at the front desk, apologizing for the delay in check-in and extending a complimentary late check-out by 4pm. 2 hr difference from what was originally told to me. Replied for them to coordinate with other on what they should be telling guests. In anticipation of the peak season, operations team should have an efficient system in place for a seemless customer experience. A lot of the guests who were kept waiting at the lobby (all seats were occupied!) were obviously agitated already. This is my second stay at the Marco Polo hotel. The first time was so far off a much better experience. Service consistency is important to keep customers coming back.

Facilities are great but staff even better! They are very attentive and are able to anticipate clients'needs even before you request it- right after checking-in, staff already arranged for a crib for my son without me requesting it! Always enjoyed staying here at Marco Polo. Well appointed rooms and dining places. Tastefully designed down to the room lighting. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and professional staff. Elevators quite confusing i wished it was also numbered, good thing they always have somebody to assist every lost guest. Hearty breakfast. Loved the well lit and open design of the restaurant- quite a far cry from the indoor pool design. Otherwise, the stay was perfect. Will book again.

A family staycation
It became a yearly vacation for us to this place because of its cozy heated pool, big room and superb service. They make sure that their guest/s will always feel comfortable and convenient in their stay. Best hotel even a little pricey. Its worth it.

Loved the pool and the Vu Bar
Booked 2 rooms and had a breeze checking in early. Surprised to have them available by noon time. Tried the indoor pool and we had a great time. Water was warm and the staff are all visible and ready to help. Spent the rest of the night with my siblings at the Vu Bar which was absolutely stunning!

Terrible valet service
Please fix your valet service. It took us 1 hour before we got our car. The valet people did not even bother checking what happened until.i complainednfornthe 3rd time. They said they cannot find our car because the parking slot number written on our ticket is wrong. They have the plate number so why didnt they bother checking it? And it is their responsibility to look for our car and the lady at the valet service is arrogant in answering my questions.

It was the best. Also they made sure that my friend was really surprised for her birthday. All staff are accomodating, friendly and so hassle free. We really love the pool too.

Newlywed city vacation
Stayed here for 4d3n last February 1 with my husband. We loved the hotel room, it was clean and spacious. The facilities, their indoor pool , sauna, gym, spa, restaurants, etc. We would also like to commend all the staffs at the hotel as they are very nice and always prompts to our needs. Easy and fast check in and check out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will surely come back at this hotel.

A NON SMOKING ROOM ON A SMOKING FLOOR ???
New yr breakfast buffet definitely not worth 1400 pesos. Swimming pool light fixture malfunction. Everyone had to get out of the pool. Very slow elevators. Must have bought their 5 star rating. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Requested non smoking room. They did Put me on a non smoking room BUT on a SMOKING FLOOR! Had to wait 30 min to have room changed. Valet parking fee 100 pesos??? Go BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL !

Parking & ekevator are major problems
Our second time in this hotel yet same old problem, parking took us an hour just to be parked. Elevator transferring & waiting also wasted our time,While we were swimming, the one in charge at the pool call our attention that they need to tfix the pool lighting & asking us to leave the pool,it was such a terrible & we are disappointed experiencing all these things.
