Smoky!
Front desk guy was accomdoating but nice would be a stretch. Didnt realize this casino was a smoking casino as all other casinos in louisiana are non smoking. The stench and cloud of smoke was almsot unbearable. The smell inundated the elevator and even on a nonsmoking floor, still lingered. The bed was harder than the carpeted floor.

The resort property itself is nice when you arrive. We arrived at 1pm and asked if we could check in early. The front desk personnel were not welcoming, but did allow us to check-in. The room was fairly updated and clean. The casino is smaller than expected and most of waitstaff were friendly. The biggest disappointment was NOT being told of the additional $25 fee for early check-in. We saw this charge after check out. We have stayed at multiple casino resorts and have never had to pay an unexpected fee for early check-in so please be wary of this.
