Yes, This Is the Place to be in the Alfama
The roof top bar and terrace have a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was sumptuous with many many offerings. Access at the end of a long narrow dead end allows for no parking, but you don't want to be dealing with a rental car in Lisbon anyway and our Uber dropped us and picked us up right at the front door. The rooms are comfortable, great overhead rain showerhead, and comfy bed. Rooms are not large but they are not cramped and have great views. Go there and enjoy this jewel. This was my second stay there and I will be back.

Memmo Alfama is a special hotel and a great place to stay in Lisbon, especially if you haven't been there before. It's in the middle of the historic district and short walk to the Tegus River. The included breakfast was excellent and the staff were great -- I'll single out Monica and David, who seemed especially interested in ensuring that we had what we wanted.
