3 of the 6 evenings were disturbed due to weddings taking place which disturbed quiet evenings in the lounge. The staff were all very pleasant but could have been better turned out. Inside the hotel was very ornate but the outside needed a paint, which I believe is taking place shortly. Breakfasts were adequate but the evening meal menu was very basic and didn't change at all during our stay.

Incredibly disappointing
Its a shame about this hotel.. the staff were lovely and the reception area is very grand but unfortunately the foyaye doesnt live up to the expectation. Room 332 was SO hot.. so so hot! No ventilation other than a window you can only open 2 inches.. we were given 2 fans which was nice but then they were very loud when trying to sleep as didnt have ear plugs, also the bed was super uncomfortable. On my partners side it dipped so he kept rolling out. Then my Moroccan oil dry shampoo set off the fire alarm, totally not my fault however was told off when staff came to investigate. (Dont put a dressing table and 2 mirrors under a sensitive fire alarm) all in all a very disappointing 3 nights.. after the 3rd night of awful sleep we left at 7am to go home writing off our last day due to lack of sleep
