The photos do not do the location justice. The description says three pools however the main infinity pool is for club access guests only. We couldnt get access because we had children under 13 so we were exempt. This would have been fine had the pool we did have access to had any level of service. The pool was dirty, there was no service at all. You had to go back to your room to order a drink to then head back to the pool to have your item delivered to you and then repeat. There is a restaurant up there but is closed, however the website boasts access to multiple restaurants, all with amazing images. We were there over a weekend so we were confused as to why it would be shut. I went down stairs to our room to order food and drinks to be delivered to the pool and nobody answered the room service or front desk I home for over 10 minutes. When they finally answered they told me they were busy checking guests in. I asked if they were then only staff and was told both of the staff were busy. I then asked how many rooms the hotel- 340 rooms / 2 staff -The food was eye watering expensive for the quality of the hotel. $18 for a bowl of fries is more than you’d pay in a Michelin star restaurant. The rooms are tiny and the shower is almost unusable with a giant rain shower head in the middle of a tiny shower. There is no escaping the water if you’re not wanting to wash your hair. It’s also got soap scale built-up in ver the grout from multiple reapplications of the grout.

Good but not Excellent
We have stayed a few times before (pre covid) and it is still a great place to stay. We were in the club rooms. All was good except a little disappointed with breakfast but they changed system on our final day and it was much better, staff were very friendly and helpful if a little slow at times. We also had an issue with out washroom sink drain being very slow and though we reported it nothing was done. They do seem to have lost the edge a little this time around.

The area around the hotel is great, with lots of places to eat and very easy to reach public transport (MRT and buses). The hotel exterior is amazing, with plants growing up the facade. The hotel room was like most hotel rooms. The house keeping was very slow as our room wasn't cleaned until after 4pm despite the make up room sign being on since 9am. The pictures of the pool are misleading. There is an infinity pool only for club members (3 out of four of the photos). There are two small pools on the roof (shown in one photo) but they need some maintenance as they were quite dirty and the loungers were breaking.

We looked at plenty of hotels for a pre cruise stay in Singapore, we settled on Oasia Downtown and booked a club room for 4 nights. This hotel was very good, complimentary breakfast every morning, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Room was a good size for a couple, and was exceptionally clean and well maintained, as we're all areas of the hotel, we never managed to get back in the evening for complimentary massage and cocktails, We would definitely like to come back again, I would recommend this hotel

It's resort living in the heart of the city. The reception is located on the 12 floor which also doubles up as an open air area for lounging. The rooms are clean and cozy with lots of wood and fabric furnishing, giving a more homey feel than a standard business hotel. Overall, its a wonderful stay with plenty of restaurants of different cuisines to choose from and steps away from the train station. You also get to experience a bit of how the local live with the nearby HDB dwellings.
